Trailer for “All Shall Be Well,” an LGBTQ film about a Hong Kong family

“If Pat were still here, he would agree with me.” Strand Releasing has released the official trailer for the indie film. All Will Be Well The Hong Kong-set gay drama, directed by Ray Yan, premiered at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival earlier this year and also screened at the Hong Kong, Seattle and Sydney Film Festivals. Patra Au & LingLing LeePat and Angie (respectively) are a lesbian couple living in Hong Kong who have been together for over 40 years. After Pat’s unexpected death, Angie finds herself at the mercy of her relatives’ care as she struggles to hold on to the home and dignity they’ve shared for over 30 years. Angie and Pat (Patra Au and LingLing Lee) are a lesbian couple who have been together for over 40 years. Pat bought an apartment 30 years ago and has lived there ever since. The couple has already come out to their respective families and often invites Pat’s family over for dinner. Angie has always had a very close relationship with Pat’s family, Pat’s brother, Xin, his wife, May, and their adult children, Fanny and Victor. She helps raise Fanny and Victor, which her parents appreciate.
