Nawazuddin Siddiqui opens up about facing discrimination in society for appearing in an interview News 18. During the conversation, The Gangs of Wasseypur The actor shared that he has always faced abuse and unfair comments about his physical appearance and he has now started believing the things said about him. Talking to News18, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “Pata nahi shakalo se humari nafrat kum hai kuch logon ko apne aap ko ‘Kun aa gaye film industry mein itne gande shakal lakey?’ (I don’t know why some people hate the way we look. Maybe it’s because we’re so ugly, bad looks).

He said, “I am physically the ugliest actor – In cinema. Main To Ye Manta Hum. Kyun ki main shuru se ye sab sunte aa raha hoon aur abhi manne bhi laga hoon (I’ve been hearing it for a long time and I’m starting to believe it).”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is known for his versatile performances in films like Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manjhi – The Mountain Man, Raman Raghav 2.0, to name a few. Appreciating the industry for appreciating her talent in her look, she told News18, “The film industry says muje koi shikhayat nahin hai. I want to thank all the directors who gave me diverse roles.
