On Instagram Stories, the star wrote, “A window into my journey. This is for all the brave women and men fighting this tough battle. Hina mentioned how she wants to fight cancer to give courage and motivation to other people. She said, “I want my journey to be brave and inspire people enough to turn the page for good in their own stories.” The actress concluded her note by writing, “And remember we may be afraid but we must not be afraid.” She added the hashtag “scared not scarred” to the text.

I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I am strong, determined and truly determined to overcome this disease. I am committed and willing to do whatever it takes to get stronger from this.
