Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha Admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for routine check-up. Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha confirmed the news The Indian Express. When asked about Shatrughan Sinha’s condition, Luv Sinha told The Indian Express, “Father had viral fever and weakness for the last two days so we decided to hospitalise him.” The senior actor of the film industry is said to have accepted on Monday. The news comes a week after Sonakshi Sinha’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi registered her marriage under the Special Marriage Act at a Bandra apartment last Sunday. Shatrughan Sinha and wife Poonam Sinha were present at the registration ceremony and reception.

Shatrughan Sinha shares her happiness with the media after Sonakshi’s marriage. Shatrughan told Times Now, “Yeh bhi koi poochne ki baat hai? (Is this even a question?) Every father waits for this moment when he gives his daughter to the groom of his choice. My daughter looks happier with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe (their partnership Long live),” he said. “44 years ago Shatrughan Sinha married Poonam Sinha, the most successful, most beautiful, most talented girl of his choice. Now it’s Sonakshi’s turn to marry the boy of his choice,” he said.

Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha are parents to three children – Sonakshi and twins Luv and Kush. Shatrughan Sinha won this year’s Lok Sabha election from West Bengal’s Asansol constituency.
