After a month of speculation about Aditya Roy Kapur’s next project with directors Raj & DK, the news has been confirmed – it’s a web series titled. Rakhtabeej. Aditya will helm the show and share the screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, reuniting her after their successful collaboration with the director duo. Family man 2 and the future Citadel: Honey Bunny.
Aditya Roy Kapur Gears Up For Raj & DK’s Web Series Rakhtabeej With Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Report
After its OTT debut night manager Last year, the actor seems to have found a new platform to showcase his talent. According to a Mid-day report, sources revealed that Kapoor was in discussions with Raj & DK for the past six months before finally signing the project in May. The hunt for the leading lady didn’t take long either, Samantha Prabhu quickly came on board.
Given the serious nature of the action RakhtabeejAs is known, Kapoor and Prabhu have started preparing for their respective roles. The actors are also expected to participate in joint training sessions to further enhance their on-screen chemistry and fighting skills.
While Raj & DK is currently focused on wrapping up its third season family mantheir obligation Rakhtabeej remains strong. If all goes according to plan, the shooting of the new series will begin in August.
