Warner Bros. plans to release Denis Villeneuve’s next film in late 2026

A bit of exciting release date news came out of Hollywood tonight, with Warner Bros. setting new release dates for the following films: Denis Villeneuve The film will be released in theaters nationwide. December 18, 2026 – It will also be shown in IMAX. The only problem so far is the title and what We don’t know what the film is about or any other details beyond that it’s Villeneuve’s next project. Dune 3 – Also known as Dune: MessiahAnother possibility is a film adaptation of the book, which is already in the works. Nuclear War: ScenarioIt’s a chilling look at what would actually happen if a nuclear bomb went off. Of course, the outcome could be completely different. In citation of Dune 2 “I want to make something different,” he said on the press tour. Sand Dunes There’s no telling what’s next, but we’ll have to wait and see what exactly is in the works. For now, Warner Bros. is currently planning a production schedule for Villeneuve’s next planned project, which will be his 12th feature film.

The distance between the two release dates means that Warner Bros. intends to at least follow through with its plans to develop these two movies as big-budget blockbusters.
