Bollywood star Sunny Deol will star in filmmaker Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming directorial, which is being tagged as “the country’s biggest action film”. Production banner Mythri Movie Makers took to X on Thursday and announced the tentatively titled film SDGM. “Country’s biggest action film – #SDGM. Starring action superstar @iamsunnydeol. Directed by @megopichand. Produced by @MythriOfficial and @peoplemediafcy,” the tweet read.
The shooting of the film will start soon. The tweet further read: “Mass feast loading! Shooting starts soon. @MusicThaman @RishiPunjabi5 @artkolla.”
Sunny shared an announcement on her Instagram with the same caption.
Gopichand Malineni, who primarily works in Telugu cinema, made his directorial debut in 2010 with an action comedy film. Dan sneezed. Directed films like Bodyguard, Balupu, Pandaga Chesko, the winner And Crack.
Sunny was last seen in a mega-blockbuster Gadar 2. He appears next Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, also stars Preity Zinta and Ali Fazal. Aamir Khan will be taking charge as producer under Aamir Khan Productions for the period film directed by Santoshi.
