Acclaimed director Imtiaz Ali, known for his latest Netflix hit amar singh chamkila Recently discovered a delightful surprise inspired by his film. Popular restaurant, The Bombai Cafe, has introduced two new dishes named after the film’s central character, legendary Punjabi musician Amar Singh Chamkila.

Ali posted an Instagram story where he showed off the restaurant’s menu and highlighted the ‘Vege Chamkila’ and ‘Chicken Chamkila’ dishes. Expressing her amusement and appreciation, she tagged the restaurant and encouraged her followers to try out these unique offerings.
Bombai Cafe’s menu features a vegetarian option featuring potatoes cooked with spinach, badi (sun-dried lentil dumplings) and Indian spices flavored with ginger, garlic and green chillies. “Katami Chamkila” offers a similar preparation with chicken.
