Leave me and the baby here while you go after the oil?” Good Deed Entertainment is a subsidiary of Good Deed Entertainment, which produced the 2017 film ” BoomtownThe film depicts a family working in the oil fields. It premiered at the 2017 Nashville Film Festival and I posted a trailer The film was unreleased at the time, as it was first released in the fall of that year. For some reason, it is now scheduled to be released on VOD again seven years later in 2024. A young father and husband, he turns to the oil fields in search of a better life for himself and his family. But will his hopes of quick money and glamour ruin his plans? Along the way, he encounters the trials and tribulations that thousands of Americans experience each year as they claim the American Dream. Boomtown Performer Tyler Riggs As J.T. The film follows one man’s journey across America to Williston, North Dakota, the birthplace of the modern-day Gold Rush. John “JT” Turner (Tyler Riggs) leaves his family to make a living and takes a demanding but highly sought-after job in the burgeoning oil industry. Along the way, he encounters the trials and tribulations experienced by thousands of Americans every year as they try to achieve the American Dream. Boomtown The film is directed by a musician/filmmaker. Sabine MayfieldAfter working on numerous music videos and short films, this will be his feature directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Sabin Mayfield and is based on a story by Mayfield and David Neubert. The film premiered at the 2017 Nashville Film Festival and was released by Orchard Distribution in 2017. Good Deed Entertainment will re-release Mayfield’s film.
